Senior Quantity Surveyor Super-Prime Resi
We're hiring for a Senior QS to join what can only be described as the Aston Martin of the super-prime residential world. Understated. Impeccably engineered. Quietly confident because when you're the best, you don't need to shout.
This firm designs and builds ultra-high-end homes with obsessive detail all in-house. So if you're used to chasing consultants, untangling chaos, or duct-taping budgets together with hope and Excel… breathe easy. That's not the vibe here.
And the best part? They rarely recruit. Not because they're small, but because people join... and stay. In relationship terms, they're a keeper calm, consistent, no red flags.
The Role:
You'll commercially lead 3 major (£20m+) or 5 medium (£46m) private resi projects, working directly with a cross-disciplinary team that actually talks to each other.
This isn't get it over the line territory it's about delivering homes that are beautiful, functional, and a bit jaw-dropping.
You'll:
Own cost plans from the start no spreadsheet hand-me-downs
Procure smartly, manage subs, and steer final accounts like a Bentley on a clear road
Work with designers who understand construction (and respect cost plans)
Support clients who demand the best and pay for it
Avoid chaos (this team plans like it's an Olympic event)
Location: West London (Zone 4), office-first but human. Need the odd day at home in slippers? Let's talk.
Start: Ideally within a month but they'll wait for the right person.
Salary: £80100k DOE. No cloak-and-dagger stuff.
Reports to: Senior commercial lead. No micromanagement, no nonsense.
Progression: A senior role for those who want to stay hands-on respected for craft, not title.
You'll ideally have:
Stayed put in previous roles no CV hopscotch
Experience in London's super-prime scene (or the next best thing)
A solid grasp of JCT D&B, razor-sharp commercial instincts
Client confidence without the ego think cashmere, not logos
Pride in your work, even when no one's clapping
