Job Description
Our client, a leading engineering and maintenance provider in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Kingston upon Hull. They specialise in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases, ensuring high efficiency, availability, and reduced maintenance costs for their clients. Key Responsibilities:
Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
Provision of information for Monthly Reports
Review of EW notifications & BUK responses or notifications downstream & upstream
Liaising with Client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
Cost Analysis via SAP & Power BI
Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
Calculation of BOQ star rates
Remeasurement of BOQ
Update Commercial Registers i.e. CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices etc.
Drafting of notifications including letters
Overseeing of Subcontract Management processes
Value analysis - SOR, FP, day works
Change Management - Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
Payment Application & Invoicing
Innovation to improve job marginJob Requirements:
Experience in Quantity Surveying, particularly in the energy sector
Proficiency with Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Strong understanding of NEC4 Option B Contracts
Knowledge of the NAECI Agreement
Experience on major construction projects
Familiarity with Standard Method of Measurement
Basic knowledge of P6 programmes
Competence in cost analysis tools like SAP & Power BIBenefits:
