Senior Quantity Surveyor | Education & Public Sector | Kent (Ashford or Margate) | Permanent
An opportunity for an experienced Senior QS to play a key role in the delivery of new-build and refurbishment projects across the education and public sectors in Kent.
You'll be based on site at either Ashford or Margate (depending on project), with the support of a regional office and commercial team. The role involves full cradle-to-grave commercial responsibilities, working closely with delivery teams to manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, valuations, and cost reporting on live schemes ranging from £5m£20m.
The Role
• Site-based QS role delivering education and public sector schemes
• Working across pre-construction, delivery, and close-out phases
• Managing subcontract procurement, CVRs, variations, valuations, final accounts
• Reporting to a Managing QS with support from wider commercial and delivery teams
What they're looking for
• 5+ years' experience in a main contractor QS role
• Proven background on public sector, education, or community-led projects
• Solid understanding of JCT contracts and commercial documentation
• Confident communicator able to liaise with client teams and internal stakeholders
