Are you ready to take on a Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity, working on a high-profile £10 million infrastructure scheme? Join us in Manchester as our new Senior Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in delivering a major car park construction project at one of the UK’s busiest airports.
Your impact
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be part of the commercial backbone of the project, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and strategic insight throughout the build. With a focus on earthworks and drainage, you’ll lead the financial delivery of the scheme and collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to keep everything on track.
What you’ll be doing
Managing budgets and schedules across the full project lifecycle
Leading NEC 4 contract administration, forecasting, and reporting
Driving value engineering and procurement strategies
Overseeing risk management and ensuring contractual compliance
Mentoring junior surveyors and fostering a high-performance culture
Providing commercial updates and strategic advice to senior leadership
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of NEC 4 contracts, particularly Option A
Expertise in managing subcontractor budgets and financial reporting
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
RICS or CIOB accreditation is a plus
