Job Description
Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Commercial Manager for a role that they have available with a utilities contractor working on large scale framework.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of major utilities and power infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in overseeing cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting while working closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of allocated projects
Prepare and review cost reports, forecasts, and cashflows
Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and management
Provide accurate valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
Ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant forms of contract
Work collaboratively with project teams to manage risk and deliver best value
Mentor and support junior members of the commercial teamAbout You
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in a Senior QS role within the power, utilities, or civil engineering sector
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial best practices
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
Proficient in cost reporting and financial management systems
A proactive, detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat’s on Offer
