Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
As our senior quantity surveyor, you will lead and deliver on projects both big and small across the Midlands. Bring your expertise, and let’s build something great together.
Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a senior quantity surveyor, you’ll:

Prepare detailed cost plans, tender documentation, and budget forecasts.

Undertake comprehensive quantity take-offs across a full range of building types.
*
Carry out risk assessments and value engineering to maximize project value.
*
Manage interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
*
Conduct commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
*
Track project costs against budgets and advise on variation orders.
*
Report project financial performance to project teams and stakeholders.
*
Mentor and support the Assistant Quantity Surveyor and junior QS resources.
*
Collaborate closely with project managers and commercial directors.
*
Conduct post-contract cost analysis and lessons-learned reviews.
*
Ensure contractual compliance and commercial best practice.
*
Liaise with clients and stakeholders—especially where security clearance is involved.
