Job Description
Senior CSA Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre – Eemshaven
Our client is a €1.5bn turnover, multi-disciplined Tier 1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre division, our client is now seeking an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Eemshaven, Netherlands.
Responsibilities
* Commercial Leadership
Manage the full commercial lifecycle of the CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) packages on a hyperscale data centre project, ensuring budgets and margins are protected.
* Procurement & Contract Management
Lead procurement strategies for structural steel, concrete, façade, and architectural finishes packages, negotiating and administering subcontracts in line with Tier 1 contractor processes.
* Cost Planning & Reporting
Deliver accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management for all CSA elements, providing commercial insight on high-value, fast-track packages
* Change & Risk Management
Evaluate and negotiate variations and claims, driving value engineering initiatives and managing commercial risks specific to large-scale CSA delivery in mission-critical environments.
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with planners, engineers, and client representatives, while mentoring junior QS staff to ensure CSA commercial performance aligns with project and client objectives.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably data centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Netherlands
