Job Description
A dynamic, forward-thinking construction consultancy with five UK offices is looking for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on flagship London-based projects and help drive the growth of their expanding QS team.
This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who's ready to step into a leadership-focused role within a progressive, medium-sized consultancy making bold moves in the market.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role
Based in Farringdon, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across a diverse portfolio, managing projects from feasibility through to final account. You'll act as the commercial lead on schemes including:
High-end residential (private developers)
Mixed-use developments
Commercial office refurbishments
Education and schools
Façade and recladding projectsYou'll be joining a 27-strong London team, including a close-knit group of 3 Quantity Surveyors, with direct exposure to senior leadership. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll also mentor junior staff, manage key client relationships, and play a central role in the team's next growth phase - including a move into brand-new offices.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
This role suits a driven Project QS ready to step up, or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking more autonomy and progression. You will need:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally RICS-accredited (MSc or BSc)
A strong Quantity Surveying background within a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
Pre- and post-contract expertise, particularly in the built environment.
Client-facing confidence and leadership skills.
MRICS or commitment to achieving it is desirable.
A successful track record leading projects from inception to completion.In Return?
