Job Description
We’re working with a leading property services and maintenance contractor, part of a well-established national group, who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key commercial role supporting a long-term housing maintenance partnership across the South West, offering immediate contract stability with a clear route to permanent employment.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and Commercial Leads, overseeing commercial performance and ensuring robust financial control across a multi-region housing maintenance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on commercial and financial management, ensuring the business secures full contractual entitlement.
Produce Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), Cost Value Comparisons (CVCs) and management accounts.
Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and budget tracking.
Oversee subcontractor agreements, procurement, and supply chain performance.
Support dispute resolution and ensure timely billing and cash collection.
Drive governance, cost efficiency, and system improvements within the commercial team.
About You
Proven experience as a QS or SQS within maintenance, housing, or contracting.
Strong commercial awareness with solid understanding of JCT or similar contracts.
Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills.
Strong communicator with leadership capability.
Full UK driving licence.
