Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the lead on high-profile construction projects? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor delivering major works in the industrial and built environment sectors. The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of site operations—cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and client-facing responsibilities. Working closely with operational and site teams, you’ll ensure smooth project delivery and accurate reporting from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Use internal QS forms and management systems effectively.
Maintain and organise site records and photographic documentation.
Collaborate with site teams to complete labour allocation sheets.
Lead project meetings including client and design team sessions.
Approve POs and subcontractor orders with site and QS teams.
Manage TRM meetings with Operations and subcontractors.
Prepare subcontract documentation and manage package procurement.
Measure, price, and negotiate project variations.
Monitor subcontract liabilities and cost projections.
Handle valuations, payment notices, and external forecasting.
Support compliance with contract terms and project design scope.
Supervise and mentor junior surveyors (TQS/AQS) on site.What You’ll Need
A degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
Proven experience in industrial and/or commercial construction projects.
Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.What’s On Offer
