We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Recruitment Resourcer, based in Aberdeen, to support our recruitment consultants and clients by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent. As a senior member of the resourcing team, you will play a key role in candidate attraction, pipeline management, and process improvement, while mentoring junior resourcers and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
Ideally we would love to hire someone who has experience of both temporary and permanent recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
* Candidate Sourcing & Attraction
* Utilise a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, referrals, and headhunting.
* Create and manage compelling job advertisements to attract high-quality candidates.
* Put videos on LinkedIn talking about live roles and industry trends
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates.
* Candidate Screening & Management
* Conduct initial interviews and assessments to match candidates to client requirements.
* Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
* Prepare candidate shortlists and detailed profiles for consultants and clients.
* Collaboration & Support
* Work closely with recruitment consultants to understand client requirements and hiring needs.
* Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and candidate availability updates.
* Support consultants in managing the full recruitment process, from shortlisting to placement.
* Leadership & Mentoring
* Share best practices and contribute to the development of recruitment tools, processes, and training.
Key Skills & Attributes
* Strong track record in candidate sourcing and resourcing within an agency or in-house setting.
* Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
* Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, Boolean search, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term candidate relationships.
* Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience as a Recruitment Resourcer, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role.
* At least 2–4 years’ recruitment/resourcing experience (agency experience desirable).
* Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM databases.
