Salary: £14.65 to £15.15 per hour, plus a payment of £70 per shift for every sleep in completed

Bridge2Future Care Group are on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team within a specialist learning disability Children’s Residential Home in the Burton-on-Trent DE14. The role will require working shifts on a rotational basis between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm, across a 7-day working week. There will also be a requirement to sleep in the home overnight, for which you would receive a sleep-in supplement of £70 per shift.

Our successful Learning Disability Support Worker will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce)
Some relevant experience in working with Children and Young People with complex needs
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
As a Learning Disability SENIOR, you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
Attending to Young People’s practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
Completing written reports and documentation
Shift lead a team of support workers
Supporting and being involved with the reviewing of Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives for the young people in the home.
Please note that you must be 21 years of age or above to apply due to children’s homes regulations.
