I am currently seeking a Team Leader for a lovely Children’s Home in Chorley with great career development opportunities.
For experienced Children’s Residential Team Leader who are qualified to level 3 in Children & Young People there are amazing career opportunities, including management. You will be supporting children with a range of needs including trauma, mental health and associated needs. You will also be responsible for leading the support staff team, deputising in the absence of management and work as part of a close- knit supportive team. Due to the nature of the service you will need to be flexible with working patterns, which will include sleep ins and on call duties and payments for these are included in the salary.
To be considered for this role you will need the following
* Level 3 in Residential in Children and Young People or equivalent.
* Experience leading a team shift for 12 months
* Working with Children/Young people in a residential setting for at least 2 years
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare.
* Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
* Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
* Experience in trauma informed model of care
* Knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
* Driving Licence

* £35,010 - £36,960 PA (incl. sleeps and on call allowance)
