Job Description
Senior Residential Support Worker – Children & Young People
Location: Holbeach (near Spalding)
Salary: £29,203 – £30,420 per annum (based on hourly rate)
Additional Pay: Plus upto £6,000 per year from sleep-in shifts
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Rota: Approx. 11 day shifts (8am–11pm) and 7–10 sleep-ins per month
🧒 About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a nurturing 3-bedded EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home. You’ll be working with young people who need consistent, therapeutic support in a safe, structured environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day care and emotional support for young people
*
Lead and supervise shifts in the absence of senior management
*
Be a role model to junior staff, offering coaching and guidance
*
Support care planning, routines, and positive behaviour strategies
*
Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of all residents
*
Accurately record observations, incidents, and progress reports
✅ Requirements:
*
Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare (EBD preferred)
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent/willing to work towards)
*
Experience leading or supervising others desirable
*
Resilient, calm, and confident in challenging situations
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
