Job Description
Residential & Senior Support Workers – Children’s Homes – Coventry & Rugby
Salary:
*
RSW: Up to £26,880 + £70 per sleep-in
*
Senior RSW: Up to £30,240 + £70 per sleep-in
We’re supporting a growing residential care group with children’s homes in Coventry and Rugby, who are looking for passionate and resilient staff to join their team.
These homes support children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs – providing consistency, structure and safety.
The Roles
Residential Support Worker
*
Provide day-to-day care, structure and emotional support
*
Build strong, positive relationships with the children
*
Support education, activities, and life skills development
*
Participate in shifts including sleep-ins (on a rota basis)
Senior Support Worker
*
Take the lead on shifts and support junior colleagues
*
Contribute to care planning, reports, and child reviews
*
Oversee key areas of the home (e.g. medication, food hygiene)
*
Conduct supervisions and delegate tasks appropriately
What We’re Looking For
RSW:
✔ Experience with children or young people
✔ Willing to enrol on the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
✔ Flexible, compassionate and values-driven
Senior RSW:
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
✔ Confident in shift leadership and mentoring
✔ Experience writing reports and attending reviews
A driving licence is preferred and you must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
