Job Description
A client of ours in the Felixstowe area are recruiting a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Generate business leads by reaching out to potential clients within the existing database
Collaborate proactively with customers and the business development team to address client needs
Promote additional products and services to existing clients (upselling)
Document and report the results of sales activities and lead conversions
Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and sales inquiries
Consistently work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Senior Sales Executive position:
5+ years previous experience in outbound calls or related sales position
Proficient within the Microsoft packages and CRM systems (hubspot preferred)
Sales experience within the freight, logistics distribution and supply chain industry is essential ideally within Ocean/Road/Air shipments
Ability to build relationships with clients
Excellent communication skills
Confident in cold calling
