Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading generator and UPS provider with a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer service, to recruit a Senior Generator Service Engineer for its Hampshire depot.
The strategically important Senior Generator Service Engineer role comes with a salary of £35,000 - £48,000 per year (depending on experience), company pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and flexible working options.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Generator Service Engineer role
Reporting to the Service Manager you will:
Carry out diesel generator servicing and repair at customer sites and the Hampshire depot.
Diagnose and resolve engine electrical and mechanical faults.
Conduct electrical installation fault finding.
Perform control system modifications and repairs.
Install and commission generators ranging from 10kVA to 2000kVA.
Complete service reports and advise customers on remedial work.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Time-served with formal qualifications in plant maintenance and repair, or significant hands-on experience with generators or similar equipment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
UPS experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
