Location: Berlin (3+ days per week on-site)
Contract: Consultant role | Hourly paid | Initial 3-month term (extensions likely)

I'm working with a highly respected engineering consultancy delivering complex, safety-critical projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Siemens NX experience and a background in instrumentation (Instro) systems to join the team on a consulting basis.
What you'll be doing:
Leading instrumentation-focused mechanical design using Siemens NX
Supporting the delivery of high-integrity systems for regulated environments
Producing detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineers across Europe
What we're looking for:
Proven Siemens NX design experience (mechanical/instrumentation focus)
Background in instrumentation/Instro projects (defence, energy, aerospace, etc.)
Comfortable working on-site in Berlin
EU nationals or candidates eligible to work on secure/regulated projects
