Somerset - Major Infrastructure Project
£600 - £650 per shift - Freelance (PAYE Umbrella)
Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 17:00
14-Month Programme
A fantastic freelance opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Agent with a strong background in facades and roofing packages to support delivery on the Ancillary Buildings at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
This is a key role on a nationally significant infrastructure project, requiring a confident leader who understands the technical and sequencing challenges of large-scale envelope works, and who can drive quality, safety and programme without breaking stride.
The Role
You’ll take full site responsibility for facade and roofing works across the ancillary buildings package, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery from installation through to handover.
Key responsibilities include:
  * Managing subcontractors delivering facade and roofing systems
  * Coordinating works in line with programme milestones
  * Ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards
  * Overseeing inspections, testing and handover documentation
  * Liaising with project management, design and commercial teams
  * Leading site teams and maintaining strong on-site control
This is very much a hands-on leadership role visible, proactive and solutions-focused.
What We’re Looking For
  * Proven experience as a Senior Site Agent (or strong Site Agent ready to step up)
  * Demonstrable background delivering facade and/or roofing packages on major construction projects
  * Strong understanding of building envelope sequencing, temporary works and interface management
  * Excellent knowledge of health & safety procedures
  * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid (preferred)
  * Experience on large-scale infrastructure or highly regulated environments is highly advantageous
The Offer
  * £600 - £650 per shift (PAYE Umbrella)
  * 14-month secured programme
  * Monday to Friday 07:00 -17:00
  * Weekends and nights not currently planned but if required, paid at x1.5
  * Immediate start available
