Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Construction Management Team, ensuring effective on-site control and successful delivery of the building elements of construction projects. This position involves technical oversight, coordination of site activities, and leadership of site engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise setting out engineers to ensure works are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, and dimensional compliance prior to concrete pours, and maintain accurate materials reconciliation records.
Review plans and drawings to verify accuracy of calculations and ensure compliance with design and specifications.
Liaise with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to coordinate site activities.
Oversee quality control measures and ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and site procedures.Requirements

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Site Engineer role with a Main Contractor.
Proven experience using setting-out equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
Strong knowledge of temporary works coordination.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and use initiative in solving problems.Rewards & Benefits
