Job Description

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for the successful technical delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, overseeing day-to-day engineering activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities

  * Managing the day-to-day engineering delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works.

  * Leading and supporting Site Engineers and subcontractors.

  * Reviewing drawings and specifications and resolving technical queries with the design team.

  * Navigating and interpreting CAD drawings.

  * Setting out and checking works, including levels, coordinates, and dimensions.

  * Managing inspections, ITPs, QA documentation, and as-built records.

  * Providing technical input into RAMS and construction methodologies.

Senior Site Engineer Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.

  * Strong background in structures, reinforced concrete, pipelines, and water treatment infrastructure.

  * Good knowledge of ASP, FSP, and Structures.

  * Confident ability to navigate and interpret CAD drawings.

  * Good understanding of QA procedures, programme management, and construction delivery processes.

  * Relevant engineering qualification.

  * Full UK driving licence.
