Job Description

Project Engineer / Senior Engineer – Data Centre

Location: Hayes, West London
Rate: £320 per day
Project: Data Centre

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Senior Engineer to join a contractor on a major data centre project in Hayes.

Duties will include:

  * Managing engineering and setting out activities on site

  * Keeping on top of Setting Out Engineers and coordinating their workload

  * Reviewing and managing design drawings and technical information

  * Raising, reviewing and tracking RFIs through to close-out

  * Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and design teams

  * Resolving technical and design issues on site

  * Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme

  * Completing and overseeing QA records, inspections and site documentation

  * Supporting junior engineers where required

Requirements:

  * Previous experience working as a Project Engineer / Senior Engineer

  * Strong construction, civils or structural engineering background

  * Previous data centre experience preferred

  * Strong setting out and engineering experience

  * Confident reviewing design drawings and technical information

  * Experience managing RFIs and design queries

  * Good understanding of QA procedures and documentation

  * Relevant engineering qualification

  * Valid CSCS card
