Job Description

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to oversee the delivery of new build retail schemes across Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable main contractor, taking full responsibility for projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Full site management responsibility as No.1 on projects

  * Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

  * Overseeing programme delivery and ensuring deadlines are met

  * Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site

  * Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

  * Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specifications

  * Managing site documentation and reporting progress

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on new build projects

  * Background working for a main contractor

  * Experience delivering retail or commercial schemes

  * Strong leadership and communication skills

  * Ability to manage programmes and drive projects forward

  * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
