Senior Site Manager 

Location: Ashfird

Rate: £270 - £300 per day 

Contract: Freelance

Duration: 12–18 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to join a residential development comprising two new-build RC frame apartment buildings.

Working for a reputable main contractor, you will be responsible for managing key elements of the construction programme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations across two residential buildings.
	
Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
	
Drive programme delivery and coordinate construction activities.
	
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
	
Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
	
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
	
Liaise with project management, commercial, design, and client teams.
	
Manage site logistics and sequencing of works.
	
Produce and maintain site records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

Proven track record delivering large-scale RC frame residential projects.
	
Previous experience working as a Senior Site Manager on multi-storey residential developments.
	
Strong knowledge of structural frame, façade, internals, and finishing packages.
	
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
	
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts simultaneously.
	
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certificates are essential.
	
Stable employment history with recognised contractors preferred.
