Senior Site Manager – £30m Apartment Scheme
Stoke
12-Month Contract / Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious £30m apartment development in Stoke.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major residential scheme from initial demolition works through to final handover, working for a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of projects.

The Project

  * £30m apartment development

  * 12-month programme

  * Full lifecycle involvement from demolition and enabling works through to completion

  * Management of all site operations, subcontractors, programme and health & safety

  * Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

  * Oversee demolition, groundworks, infrastructure and superstructure phases

  * Coordinate and manage subcontractors and direct labour

  * Ensure programme milestones are achieved safely and efficiently

  * Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the build

  * Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across site

  * Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders

  * Manage project documentation and reporting requirements

Requirements

  * Proven track record delivering large-scale residential or commercial projects

  * Experience managing projects from enabling works through to completion

  * Strong knowledge of demolition, groundworks, RC frame and finishing trades

  * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualified

  * Excellent leadership and communication skills

  * Ability to drive programme whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
