Senior Site Manager – £6m Office Building Upgrade

Location: Reigate, Surrey
Project Value: £6 Million

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £6 million office building refurbishment and decarbonisation project based in Reigate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a technically challenging project that will transform an existing commercial office building into a more sustainable, energy-efficient workplace. The scheme is heavily focused on electrical infrastructure, with associated mechanical upgrades, and forms part of a wider strategy to significantly reduce the building's carbon footprint.

The Project

Key elements of the works include:

  * Full electrical strip-out and complete building rewire

  * Installation of new low-carbon electrical infrastructure

  * Solar PV installation

  * Mechanical services upgrades and integration

  * Building services coordination and commissioning

  * Live environment management and stakeholder liaison

  * High-quality refurbishment works throughout

The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of the project from start to completion. You will lead the site team, coordinate specialist subcontractors, maintain programme and quality standards, and ensure the highest levels of health and safety throughout.

Responsibilities

  * Overall management of daily site operations

  * Managing electrical and mechanical subcontractors

  * Driving programme, quality and commercial objectives

  * Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards

  * Coordinating works with the client, consultants and project team

  * Leading site meetings and reporting progress

  * Managing inspections, testing, commissioning and handover

  * Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges

  * Maintaining excellent communication with all project stakeholders

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  * Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on commercial refurbishment or MEP-led projects

  * Strong background delivering complex electrical installations

  * Experience coordinating mechanical services packages

  * Previous experience managing projects valued around £6m

  * Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills

  * Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice

  * Ability to manage programmes and drive successful project delivery

  * Have a valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card.
