Senior Social Worker - South Ipswich CIN Team
Location: Landmark House, Ipswich
Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility for remote working
Pay Rate: £35-£40 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in South Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify needs and risks.
Hold and manage a caseload of Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.
Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate records.
About You
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Strong experience in CIN and CP casework.
Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage complex cases and work under pressure.
