Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Children with Disabilties Team within Havering. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable working environment with experienced leadership, whilst receiving regular supervision and training opportunities. The responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker includes:
Strong ability to communicate with disabled children
Supporting parents, carers and the siblings of disabled children
Carry out relevant assessments
Carrying our complex safeguarding risk assessments
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
Short Breaks work
Complex cases
To ideal candidate will have:
Social Work England registration
Eligibility to work in the UK
Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
