Job Description
Senior Social Worker
Randstad is seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our team in Lewisham. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £38+.
Tasks
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: conducting thorough assessments of families facing safeguarding concerns; developing and implementing tailored care plans; collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams; providing direct support and guidance to families; advocating for children and families' rights; maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records; participating in regular supervision and professional development activities. You will be working with complex cases requiring advanced knowledge and experience.
Skills
To succeed in this role, you will possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., BA/MSc Social Work), a valid Social Work England registration, significant experience in family safeguarding, excellent assessment, planning, and intervention skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the resilience to handle challenging situations.
