Senior Specifications Technologist - Hybrid Opportunity
Our client, a successful and well-respected food manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Specifications Technologist to join their Technical Department. This opportunity arises due to continued growth and significant investment in the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Support New Product Development: Ensure product specifications and information are accurate to support the NPD team and process.
* Due Diligence: Adhere to time scales, company procedures, legislation, and customer codes of practice.
* Technical Packaging Information: Ensure correct technical information is on the appropriate packaging.
* Customer Interaction: Attend customer meetings to represent the company’s technical capabilities.
* Legislation and Policy Updates: Stay current with legislation and company policies to ensure compliance.
* Raw Material Specifications: Assess raw materials against standards.
* Data Review: Analyze and review analytical data to ensure product quality.
* Customer Compliance: Ensure all products meet customer requirements.
* Production Support: Collaborate with production to provide technical solutions.
Skills and Experience
* HACCP, GMP, and Hygiene: Understanding of these critical food safety and quality standards.
* Microbiology and Nutrition: Basic understanding to support product development and compliance.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing and ensuring accuracy of technical information.
* Computer Proficiency: Good computer skills for data management and communication.
* Communication: Strong communicator to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Role Details
* Hybrid Working: 2-3 days working from home.
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
