Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong AWS expertise and experience delivering end-to-end Dynatrace implementations is sought by a market-leading innovation house working on some of the UK's largest and most complex enterprise platforms.
Working within a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary engineering team, this Senior SRE Engineer will take technical ownership of observability and reliability across large-scale AWS environments, helping engineering teams improve platform performance, resilience and availability.
A key focus of the role will be the end-to-end implementation and ownership of Dynatrace across complex enterprise environments. You will be comfortable taking Dynatrace from initial requirements and architecture through deployment, configuration and integration, before establishing dashboards, alerting, monitoring standards and ongoing optimisation.
Alongside Dynatrace, you will bring strong AWS engineering knowledge and a broader Site Reliability Engineering mindset, using automation, Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native tooling to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
This role would suit a Senior SRE DevOps or Cloud Engineer who combines hands-on AWS expertise with genuine Dynatrace implementation experience, rather than simply having used Dynatrace as an end user.
This Senior Site Reliability Engineer should have most of the following:
- Strong AWS engineering experience within large-scale enterprise environments
- End-to-end Dynatrace implementation experience
- Experience designing and deploying Dynatrace across complex cloud environments
- Strong understanding of APM, infrastructure monitoring and observability
- Dynatrace configuration, dashboards, alerting and performance monitoring
- Experience integrating Dynatrace into AWS and wider engineering/tooling ecosystems
- Strong understanding of SLIs, SLOs, availability, reliability and performance
- Infrastructure as Code experience - ideally Terraform / Ansible
- Kubernetes / EKS experience
- CI/CD and automation experience
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and drive root-cause analysis
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work across engineering, infrastructure and application teams
- Proven technical ownership within large-scale enterprise environments
This Senior Site Reliability Engineer will receive:
- Starting salary of up to £110,000
- Long-term remote working
- Four promotion opportunities a year
- Electric company car scheme
- 6% private pension
- Death in service / income protection
- Private healthcare
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
So, if you are a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong AWS experience who has successfully designed and delivered Dynatrace implementations end-to-end, and you like the idea of taking ownership of observability across complex, enterprise-scale platforms, please apply now to be considered.
