Senior Structural Engineer – Liverpool / Merseyside
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 | Permanent
We are seeking two experienced Structural Project Engineers to join a dynamic engineering consultancy operating across Liverpool, Chorley, and Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious engineers specialising in residential and commercial structural design to manage their own projects, collaborate with senior engineers, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structural design projects across residential and commercial buildings
Prepare detailed calculations, sketches, construction drawings, and specifications
Conduct site visits to ensure work complies with designs
Work closely with senior engineers, directors, and project teams
Support business objectives and maintain high levels of client satisfactionEssential Experience
Minimum 3 years’ UK structural design experience
Expertise in steelwork, reinforced concrete, and masonry construction to Eurocode standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Masterseries, and TEDDS software
Commercial awareness including budgets, costing, and quotations
Strong report writing skillsDesirable Skills
Knowledge of STAAD.Pro, SCIA, or Revit
Project management and leadership experience
Working towards or nearing Chartered statusBenefits
