Are you looking for a new assignment with a company that values technical leadership, real responsibility, and meaningful impact?
The Opportunity
Our client is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.
The SIXEP Continuity Plant (SCP), being delivered by the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield, will ensure the site’s existing Site Ion Exchange Effluent Plant (SIXEP) facility can continue its vital work for decades to come.

This includes, partitions, blockwork, internal and external finishes, external and roof cladding and associated rainwater goods, internal and external doors (including key suiting a access control mechanisms), ironmongery, fire-stopping and overall fire strategy, and tie-in works to the existing SIXEP plant.
Design process includes temporary works checking procedures and interaction with team members to ensure the quality of the on-site work produced.? In addition, it may be necessary to attend meetings and make visits to off-site fabrication works during which time there will be dialogue with other discipline engineers, project engineers and site operations.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree qualified (or HNC/HND with significant experience) in relevant engineering discipline.
Experience in the resolution of construction issues, TQs, Concessions and Production Permits.
Design and checking of miscellaneous specialist calculations and reports.
General ongoing deign reviews in support of manufacture, and conducting specific SDDRs and MDDRs as appropriate.
