This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Support Worker or existing Senior looking to step up within a supportive, values-led organisation. You'll be joining a nurturing children's home for young people aged 8-18 who have experienced trauma, exploitation, or complex emotional and behavioural needs.
You'll play a key part in leading shifts, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care, helping young people to heal, grow, and thrive in a safe, stable home.

About the Role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
Lead shifts and ensure daily routines run smoothly and safely.
Support the Registered and Deputy Managers with supervision, training, and mentoring of the team.
Build trusted, therapeutic relationships with young people, promoting emotional regulation and personal growth.
Deliver child-centred, trauma-informed care in line with individual support plans.
Promote safeguarding, equality, and respect at all times.
Record and report clearly, maintaining compliance with Ofsted and internal standards.
Participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the home.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months' experience within a children's residential home.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Flexible and resilient approach, with a passion for helping young people succeed.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
