Senior Support Worker - Children's Residential Home
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000
Shift Pattern: 8:00am - 11:00pm | 1 day on, 2 days off
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential provider for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and looking to progress within a supportive organisation that actively invests in staff development.
The service supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
The Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting both the young people and the wider staff team. You will help lead shifts, ensure high standards of care are delivered, and act as a positive role model for both young people and colleagues.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) or above - essential
Previous experience working within a children's residential setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Ability to lead shifts and support team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
