We’re proud to be supporting a company with the opening of a beautiful, nurturing children’s home providing care and support for young people aged 7–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting the children’s daily lives, helping them build positive routines, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes. You’ll also support and guide the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding at all times.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
*
Acting as a positive role model and mentor to children and staff
*
Leading shifts and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the home
*
Supporting care planning, key working, and behavioural support strategies
*
Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and educational engagement
About You
We’re looking for someone passionate, resilient, and caring — someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in children’s lives.
Essential:
*
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
*
Experience working with children with EBD and/or LD
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable:
*
Experience as a Senior or Shift Leader in a children’s home setting
*
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
