Contract: Permanent |Full-time Shifts: Days - 3 Long day shifts, 4 off, on a 3 week rolling rota
Salary: £14.68 + £250 referral bonus

About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our 4-bed Ofsted-registered children's residential home in Preston. The home supports young people aged 8 to 19 years with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated complex needs, offering integrated care, education, and clinical support.
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care, providing support and supervision to a team of residential support workers, and ensuring the day-to-day running of the home meets regulatory and safeguarding standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and mentor support workers to deliver consistent, person-centred care
Lead shifts, manage rotas, and oversee the daily running of the home
Build strong, supportive relationships with children and young people
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams (care, clinical, education)
Maintain clear records, care plans, and incident reports
Champion safeguarding and promote independence and positive outcomesRequirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential care setting (children's services preferred)
A relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. Children & Young People's Workforce)
Understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated behaviours
Confident in leading a team and taking responsibility during shifts
Strong communication and organisational skills
