Senior Support Worker - RCW - Children's Residential Location: Lymington Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 (Plus Sleeps) Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours/week (Shifts typically – 1 or 2 on Requirements * Right to live and work in the UK * Full UK driving license About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our children’s residential team. You will support the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care using the PACE method (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to help children feel safe, understood, and supported in a nurturing environment. Your role will involve: * Delivering care in line with company policies, Quality Standards for Children’s Homes, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. * Creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being, health, education, and personal development. * Working collaboratively with other agencies to develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments. * Acting as a key worker, helping young people build life skills, independence, and resilience, while prioritising their views, wishes, and emotional needs. * Supporting children through trauma, challenging behaviours, and difficult experiences with empathy, patience, and consistency. This role requires flexibility, including sleep-in duties, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
