Senior / Associate Surveyor
Location: Shrewsbury
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected multi disciplinary property consultancy in their search for a Senior / Associate Surveyor to join their Commercial Property team in Shrewsbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced property professional to take on a leading role within a growing business. Working alongside surveyors, planners, and architects, you'll deliver expert advice to a varied client base and help drive the continued success of the commercial team.
The Role
As a Senior / Associate Surveyor, you'll manage a diverse range of instructions, including valuations, disposals, lease advisory, and development appraisals. This is a hands on role offering autonomy, client interaction, and clear scope for progression.
Responsibilities:
Undertake valuations for acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals.
Provide advice on investment and development opportunities.
Lead lease negotiations and deliver asset management strategies.
Prepare high quality reports in line with RICS standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify and secure new business opportunities.
About You
RICS qualified (MRICS) with around 5 years' PQE.
Proven background in valuation, lease advisory or asset management.
Strong understanding of commercial property law and landlord tenant matters.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Commercially focused, proactive, and confident in business development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; training provided for any specialist software.
