Senior Systems Engineers - Aerospace -Buckinghamshire UK. Our Aerospace client based in Buckinghamshire UK, require several Senior Systems Engineers to work with them on a permanent basis. Their products and systems are world leading.  Join them on their mission in their Systems Engineering Department. They are looking for Systems Engineers at a range of levels to join them as soon as possible in 2026, working within their Pyrotechnics Integrated Project Team where you will be responsible for a wide range of analytical engineering from project inception, through development and production, as well as maintaining system requirements, conducting in-depth analyses and supporting system verification. Candidates must be willing to undergo this Security vetting process. Job Purpose: This position is responsible for a wide range of analytical engineering within the Company. From project inception, through development and production, the role is responsible for maintaining system requirements, conducting in-depth analyses and supporting system verification. At all product life-cycle stages the role is expected to report on the work carried out through a variety of mediums including documentation, IPT meetings and presentations to all levels of the business. In addition the role includes the responsibility for mentoring Systems Engineers with a view to maximising the department's productivity and quality whilst providing support for CPD. Key Accountabilities:   Conduct requirements analyses as required and generate specifications accordingly. Prepare a wide range of highly complex, comprehensive technical documentation. Many of these documents required by contract. Conduct feasibility and trade studies, often in respect of potential new business. Carry out physiological load assessments as necessary. Conduct simulations, analyses and test matching utilising appropriate software tools. Develop new simulation models and utilising innovative analysis techniques Prepare a wide range of highly complex technical documents including internal, customer and contract defined deliverables. Design and develop appropriate software including that of a safety critical standard. Coach, mentor and encourage other members of the department including new hires. Communicate effectively with all levels within the organisation and its customers at all times. Secondary Activities and Tasks: To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required instructed in order to maintain and or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Systems Engineering Department. To undertake business travel abroad or within the UK as and when required. Knowledge and Experience: Extensive experience gained in aerospace systems engineering environment. Specific and technical skills Desirable: Understanding of UML or SysML Understanding of software development Thorough grounding in the production of software to varying levels of complexity. Essential: Thorough grounding in a broad range of multi-disciplinary engineering concepts and practices. Highly developed communication skills: able to communicate verbally, in presentation format and in writing at senior level; able to develop links with other technical specialists within the business.
