The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team within the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology sector. This is a chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects—from niche consultancy assignments to major national programmes—where your systems thinking and leadership will make a tangible impact. Your duties and responsibilities will be
Provide expert guidance to project and engineering managers on systems engineering best practice.
Lead the application of structured methodologies and tools to solve complex client challenges.
Promote and implement model-based approaches to systems development and analysis.
Develop strategies that support key decision-making milestones for clients.
Deliver engineering outputs aligned with time, budget, and quality expectations.
Identify and pursue opportunities to support business growth and innovation.
Mentor and support junior engineers to build capability across the teamYou will have the following qualifications and experience
Ideally you will have the following qualifications and experience
Degree qualified in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience in engineering.
Chartered or professionally recognised status (e.g. CEng, CSEP).
Hands-on experience with MBSE tools such as Sparx EA or Cameo.
Familiarity with modelling languages and frameworks including SysML, UML, TOGAF, MODAF.
Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and lifecycle standards (e.g. ISO 15288).Get in touch now
