Senior Tax Manager - Private Client

They are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead and build Private Client team, a role with real autonomy, direct access to partners, and a genuine say in how the department grows.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the Personal and Trust Tax compliance service, including review and sign-off of returns
Delivering advisory work across Trusts, Inheritance Tax, CGT, offshore trusts and international tax matters
Overseeing 60-day CGT Returns, Trust Registration Service, Trust IHT Returns and CRS reporting
Acting as a trusted point of contact for HMRC, clients and professional advisers
Managing complex client relationships and associated risk
Leading, coaching and developing your team: recruitment, appraisals, training, the lot
Owning workflow, WIP, billing and recoveries for your area
Getting involved in business development, networking and technical marketing, as much or as little as suits your ambitionsWhat we're looking for:

CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
Significant Private Client Tax and Trust experience
Strong technical grounding in Personal Tax, Trusts, IHT and CGT
Proven experience leading or managing a team
Commercially minded, with strong client relationship skillsNice to have (not essential):

International or offshore trust experience
Business development track record
Experience leading advisory projects
