Senior Technical Product Manager - Platform Workload (AWS / Datastores / Cloud Infrastructure)
Salary: £125,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Technical Product Manager looking to define the vision for developer-centric platform services in a high-growth, cloud-native environment?
A leading tech-driven company is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and lifecycle of core workload platform assets, including AWS-native services (RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticache), managed datastores, and on-prem data solutions. This role is central to driving developer productivity, backend scalability, and infrastructure simplification.
What You'll Be Doing:
Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for workload platform technologies.
Be the key liaison between Platform Engineering and internal developers-understand their pain points and gather feedback.
Define user stories, product specifications, and a prioritised agile backlog.
Evangelise the platform's capabilities across the business and drive adoption.
Oversee workload asset lifecycle management, from evaluation to graceful deprecation.
Analyse key metrics-developer satisfaction, performance, cost-efficiency-to inform product direction.
Influence security, compliance, finance, and development teams to align on strategic goals.
You'll Bring:
5+ years in Product Management with a strong focus on developer platforms or infrastructure tooling.
Hands-on experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or SRE.
Deep technical understanding of AWS, including services like RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, IAM, S3, and others.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and other datastores.
Confident communication skills and the ability to lead technical conversations and influence senior stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Desirable:
AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect).
Experience working across global teams and time zones.
Background in delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
