Job Title: Senior Technical Surveyor
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time
Salary: £48,000 – £58,000
Location: Wembley (London) or Hertfordshire, with hybrid working
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Overview:
Our client is seeking a technically skilled and experienced Senior Technical Surveyor to oversee complex repairs, manage technical operations, and support a team of Maintenance Surveyors. You will play a vital role in ensuring quality, compliance, and resident satisfaction across the housing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and guide the Maintenance Surveyor team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Oversee complex repairs, high-risk projects, and major works, ensuring compliance with policy and standards.
Conduct technical audits and lead the rollout of electronic surveying systems.
Act as the main escalation point for complex technical queries, contractor performance, and consultant liaison.
Support strategic improvements in maintenance services in partnership with the Technical Manager.
Drive effective resident engagement to ensure services meet customer expectations.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum HNC (or equivalent qualification) in a building-related subject.
Extensive technical surveying experience in housing, maintenance, or construction.
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, housing law, and building regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop surveyors.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

£48,000 – £58,000 salary (depending on experience)
