Senior Town Planner - Nottingham

Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary consultancy? I'm currently partnering with a highly regarded planning and development firm in Nottingham that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to support its continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team working on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning strategies and securing consents for a wide range of projects. You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing planning applications and appeals
Providing strategic planning advice to clients
Leading on site appraisals and feasibility studies
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be a commercially aware and proactive planner with strong communication skills and a passion for development.

Requirements:

MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
Proven experience in a consultancy or local authority environment
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
Excellent report writing and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
