Senior Town Planner
Location: Bedford
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established and respected planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic Bedford team.

The Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you'll take ownership of your own projects while supporting the wider team on complex developments. Responsibilities will include:
Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications and appeals
Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Engaging with local authorities and third parties throughout the planning process
Mentoring junior team members where appropriate
About You:
MRTPI qualified (or actively working towards chartership)
5+ years' planning experience within a consultancy, developer, or local authority environment
Strong understanding of the UK planning system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercially minded with the ability to build strong client relationships
A proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
