Senior Transducer Engineer
What will this person be doing?
Design, prototype, and validate transducers to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturing yield of wind sensor products.
Create design specifications, validation reports, and support transition from prototype to production.
Define critical characteristics and testing methods with a focus on acoustics, mechanics, and piezoelectric performance.
Support electronic integration and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and automation teams on assembly processes and yield improvements.
Investigate and resolve transducer-related issues, using root cause analysis and data insights.
Prepare reports on simulations, theoretical models, and experimental results.
Stay informed on emerging transducer technologies.
Manage transducer-focused projects or sub-projects, providing timelines, task breakdowns, and progress updates.
Essential Skills
BSc or MSc in Acoustics, Physics, Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Piezoelectric component level design experience and working knowledge of manufacturing constraints.
System-level design & analysis experience in audio and ultrasonic.
Proven experience in the design, prototype, test and validation of transducers.
Experience with new product introduction and specifying critical process parameters for performance and reliability in a Manufacturing Engineering environment.
Competent in commercial FEA modelling packages (electro-acoustics and mechanical)Before You Apply
