Are you a Senior Transport Planner looking to join a respected consultancy where your skills, ideas, and development truly matter? We're working with a leading, independent and employee-owned consultancy to find a confident and experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their well-established London team.
You'll be working on some of the most exciting and high-profile development projects across London and the South - shaping transport strategies that support sustainable growth, better access, and successful planning outcomes.
🚦 The Role
As a Senior Transport Planner, you'll take the lead on delivering a broad range of transport planning services, providing trusted advice to clients and contributing to high-quality planning submissions.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing Transport Assessments, Statements, Travel Plans and ES transport chapters
Leading projects and coordinating with internal teams
Representing the consultancy at meetings with clients, planners, architects, and contractors
Supporting the design of access strategies and transport solutions across all modes
Managing resources effectively and mentoring junior team members
Maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables, in line with company QMS
Contributing to the commercial success of your projects👤 About You
You'll be a transport planning professional with:
A relevant degree (or equivalent) and working towards a professional qualification
Significant experience in a transport planning consultancy or similar environment
Strong communication and client-facing skills - able to lead meetings and advise confidently
Good understanding of design standards and experience using AutoCAD (or equivalent)
Experience with junction modelling software such as Junctions 10 and LinSig
Commercial awareness, and an understanding of project budgets and delivery timelines
