Job Description
Senior Vehicle Mechanic required in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
Salary up to £50k DOE
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm, 2 in 4 Saturday Mornings
Responsibilities for the Senior Vehicle Technician role will be:-
* Undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a large variety of motor vehicles to a high standard
* Competent at diagnosing vehicles
* Carry out all work effectively whilst adhering to scheduled times
* You will be responsible for keeping work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from hazards
* Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite manner
* To be aware of the importance of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction working to ensure they are met at all times
Minimum requirements for the Vehicle Technician role are:
* Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
* Have at least 2 years' experience after qualifying of working in a Dealership/Independent workshop as a Technician
* Good diagnostic skills
* Driving License essential
* The ability to work without supervision
* Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work
