Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Senior Yard Operative to join their team at Burntwood Business Park. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience to step into a key role within a growing company.
As a Senior Yard Operative, you will take responsibility for maintaining and repairing equipment, keeping the yard safe and organised, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance and repairs on yard machinery and equipment
Perform general yard duties to maintain a safe, tidy workspace
Use hand and power tools confidently for fixing and repairing
Work closely with the team to support all yard activities as a Senior Yard Operative
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all timesAbout You:
Proven experience as a Senior Yard Operative or in a similar role
Mechanically minded, practical, and confident with tools ("good with a spanner")
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Dependable and able to work independently
